My own Report Card

So today is my 43rd post. I would like to celebrate with a cupcake. I have cupcakes on the brain and I will not be denied a cupcake. I have no idea why the universe is not allowing the cupcakes to flow my way. But damn it, I WANT A CUPCAKE.

My frig is fixed and I have cold empty storage. But it is cold, so I am looking on the positive side. If I was less than a positive person, I would focus on the fact that I have to go back to the hated grocery store, but I am not.

Today is our Friday. Finals are over and I lived through them with very limited blood shed. The kid and I are still speaking to each other. The world is a lovely place.

I have a pile of books that look like excellent reading. I still have six seasons of the West Wing to go, which by the way, is the best show EVER! I have lost 5 more pounds. And I broke a nail.

So I am random today.

I would like to know, because this is my 43rd post, if this blog is enjoyable to you. Could you drop me a note to say "Why yes, I do enjoy your tales" or "no thank you, this blog is not for me." If you could let me how I am doing, I would be appreciative. It would be like my own Finals week.

Just so you know, I am hoping for an A+.

  1. "Why yes, I do enjoy your tales!"

I subscribe to about 21 blogs with about 1000 posts per week (but I barely read 300 of them). I do find myself constantly tuning in to your blog, because I do enjoy the randomness and the large scope of subjects you write about. Many of my blogs fall into two categories, either the blog is so focused that each post is essentially the same and the blog becomes boring, or the blog tries to cover 8000 topics every week, in which case, I just cannot keep up. I like your blog because you have found a nice niche in the blogging community. You have been able to cover many topics and, at the same time, have kept all your posts related to eachother. Be it decorating, life, books, or collectibles, you have ensured to establish a consistent flow, but you keep every post interesting in its own right. Trust me, I read a lot of blogs which fail to incorporate many of the attributes which you have obviously mastered. Your use of creative language, interesting topics, and, of course, humor and sarcasm surely keeps me tuning in day after day. I certainly hope you continue this blog and even one day start to sell your work. Regardless to say, you have an avid reader and potential buyer subscribing to this blog day after day.

  2. You are doing a great job and we all LOVE reading your blog! I have shared it with several friends...they told 2 friends, who told 2 more friends and so on! I have heard nothing but praise and admiration for this wonderful gift you possess. You write about things that we all can relate to. Keep it coming!
